Flea Market Finds

So I was feeling a little grumpy this afternoon, the hubby had been overseas for a week which happened to be the last week of school holidays, my lovely children had been driving me a tad bonkers and a sore throat into the mix had me feeling a bit blah!

The remedy: a quick dash to my local oppy, with only 30 minutes to closing time I had to be quick.

Just when I thought I had seen all there was to see, this little treasure popped into my sight.

A stunning piece of milk glass .

These cute linen coasters, they are really tiny, only a 2.5 " square (the lady tells me they are for resting your sherry or port glass on)..........think I'll find another use as I don't drink sherry or port.

And a French casserole dish in almost new condition.

Suddenly I no longer feel grumpy, funny that!

For more finds pop over to Sophie's and have a look.

  4. Just love the milk glass bowl, did you get it for one of your usual ridiculous prices ! Hope your feeling better, maybe a port on that coaster will fix up your throat!

  5. No I didn't Vick, don't get me started on the North Shore Vinnies prices....$15 for the milk glass, $8 for the casserole and $2 for the coasters which I thought was pretty good even though they are tiny!
ps. I think if I had port I'd give it a red hot go!

  10. Don't know which North Shore Vinnies you went to, but I have found Turramurra to be very much cheaper than Gordon where it's almost a crime to pick something up and not return it to its exact position.
