Project Babushka

Here I am at the Prints Charming studio back in March attempting one of their creative courses, Screen Printing. I remember doing it at school and loving it. This was certainly no exception. My friend Vicky and I had lots of fun playing with colours and creating a design for our fabric. With what started out as a peacock plume (too tricky for beginners) ended up a babushka print.

Or should I say pink, butternut pumpkin shaped faceless blobs........Don't worry they will soon have embroidered faces and become a single bed quilt for Rosa.

Drying off just in time to take home......

And here is Vicky's creation which I just love.

  1. Hi Karlyn,

Love the Babushka creation- I don't think they look remotely like pumpkins!! Can't wait to see the finished product.
