Flea Market Finds

Holly Hobbie is definitely the flavour of the week for my op shop finds this week. I don't think there would be a 30+ old female out there who doesn't have a soft spot for this sweet little icon .  I found this tiny vase in vinnies and a friend found the little wall hanging knowing my love for all things vintage, they are traditional HB and so sweet. The melamine plate isn't HB but for only $1 I couldn't resist.

Two of my poppets trying to help me get a good picture. Oh so helpful!

Some Holly Hobbie inspired linen, the single sheet was brand new still in plastic, I'm going to turn it into a doona cover for Rosa. The pillow cases were also from my friend. I adore the girly innocent designs.

I've also been finding lots of colourful metal zips perfect for my new project using my vintage linens.

I hope you all had some op shopping luck this week end. Pop over to Sophie's to see some more.

  7. Good idea to make the sheet into a duvet cover - I like the idea of vintage sheets on the bed but just don't get on with hospital corners!

  11. Holly Hobby and I go way back. From memory I refused to wear pants until I was about 10 and lived in a collection of long skirts, one of which was a Holly Hobby multilayered job down to the ground. Slightly impractical as I was a complete tomboy climbing trees etc. Gorgeous finds and equally gorgeous kids! Melx
