Flea Market Floral

Yay! the country oppies have delivered again, we were in Wagga over the holidays and every oppy seemed to have an abundance of floral that is not turning up in the city stores and of course at a fraction of the price.

Some fab boys sheets too, the green bamboo is my favourite. I think I have enough for a boys quilt now.

I love this single bed teal rose comforter, I paid only $3 for it, soaked it for two days and it came up a treat, so soft and snug.

Guess who's nabbed it for the lounge?

Some pretty plates for my wall. Love the grey and yellow floral.

Some Pyrex for the collection. I'm leaving a lot of Pyrex on the shelf these days, only buying the bits I really like or have use for.

And I really need to get my sewing mojo back, look at all of these patterns in Rosa's size.

It's been a while since I've linked up with Sophie, go take a peek.

  4. Beautiful Karlyn, even though I restrain (I'm serious!) myself from buying them these days there is nothing quite so pretty and lovely as a vintage sheet. And you've got a pile of them! Awesome!

  17. Great idea about using a Vintage Sheet for the back of the quilt, I am making an 'I Spy' quilt for my grandson so I am off to day to look for a suitable 'boys' vintage sheet. Thanks for the idea.
