Soccer Boy Quilt

One Soccer Boy quilt done.........Once again I have used the Lotus Dots in the orange to bind this and now that this is finished I really like it. Think I must be used to the brightness. I have one more to bind for my sister then I can start sewing Harvey's together, he is getting a little impatient now that his big brother's is finished.

Ollie's Lasso Quilt

I managed to get the binding finished on the Lasso quilt over the week end. This is for my best friend's little boy. He picked the cowboy fabric and Lea picked the rest. The quilting is supposed to depict the lasso and I'm really pleased how it turned out. I especially love the Dottie binding. I hope you like it Ollie boy!

Raw Edges

When I get a quilt (or 3 ) back from the quilters nothing else matters. I have to get that binding on and fast. I love seeing that quilt finished folded up with perfect binding. Then it's time to move on and start another one. These raw edges need finishing.....it's going to be a long night....stay tuned.

A Fabulous Find

Have a look at this yummy piece of fabric I found at Vinnies on the week end. It is from 1979 and simply gorgeous, it's a printed cotton and a huge 3.5 metres for a bargain of just $10. I skipped out of there with a big smile on my face I tell you........to think I was only 5 when this was printed!

I'm thinking a skirt for me and a dress for Rosa and loads left over.

Beehive for Bec

This is my contribution to Bec's month for the Beehive. It's going to be a seaside quilt for her Mother In Law. Lots of pinwheels and 9 patch squares. She will be making the "playground days" quilt from the Material Obsession 2 book. Have fun making it Bec.
