Ollie's Lasso Quilt
I managed to get the binding finished on the Lasso quilt over the week end. This is for my best friend's little boy. He picked the cowboy fabric and Lea picked the rest. The quilting is supposed to depict the lasso and I'm really pleased how it turned out. I especially love the Dottie binding. I hope you like it Ollie boy!

Yeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaahh! I LOVE it! I couldn't wait for a surprise! It is so much better than I could have hoped for! Despite the bold spots and some gawdy-is that a real word?-colours, it looks more muted than I expected. I loved all the fabrics individually but I was unsure of how they'd team together but I LOVE IT and I LOVE YOU! Can't wait to see you all soon. Lx

ReplyDeleteJust beautiful. I hope to make a cowboy quilt for my boy at some stage but if I don't get my act together he'll be too old for it soon. I just love the colours in this.
