This is actually a skirt I bought from Vinnies last week. Beige is one of my favourite colours and the dots are quite big.....it's 100% cotton and heaps of fabric in it....gotta love that for $8. Can't wait to chop it up and use for....who knows what?
and this one is some sale fabric my girlfriend bought me a couple of weeks ago. I had the pink one in my stash ages ago, I used it all in a quilt for my friends bubba.....I really love it so I'm glad to have it back in my stash...

SUNDAY STASH # 3
Ink and Spindle have such a beautiful range of hand printed fabrics. I couldn't resist these at the craft fair. Think I will make some cushions for my lounge or maybe put them into a doona cover for my bed........or maybe both..will just have to buy more.
I AM IN LOVE WITH
This dress.......certainly one of my fave finds at the Stitches and Craft show. This cute little number is from Madi and Me. I love the Heather Bailey fabric and love that it only cost $30. I wouldn't even make it for that. It's great too because it is fully reversible in a gorgeous pale aqua and white print......two dresses for the price of one!

LUCKY ME
What a lovely surprise I had today when the postie came by! I received this gorgeous little pressie from my very thoughtful friend Lea. It was my birthday last month and she gave me the 'Meet Me at Mikes' book, funnily enough my sister did as well. Lea was more than happy to keep the book (who wouldn't be?). She currently has the Amy Butler 'Little Stitches' on order for me.....hence the inscription. Lucky me gets a few gorgeous fat quarters of Amy Butler fabric to add to my stash while I patiently await my book. Just look at that sweet wrapping and cute little Florette.

Project Babushka
Here I am at the Prints Charming studio back in March attempting one of their creative courses, Screen Printing. I remember doing it at school and loving it. This was certainly no exception. My friend Vicky and I had lots of fun playing with colours and creating a design for our fabric. With what started out as a peacock plume (too tricky for beginners) ended up a babushka print.
